Following an EPIC sold-out show at The Barrel House Ballroom in Spring 2023, boci returns with her full band for what will be one of the live highlights of the year on Friday 16th May 2025.

boci is a Bristol-based violinist and songwriter creating alt-folk with her violin, vocals, guitar and loop pedal. Her use of loops and electronic effects allows her to create cinematic, layered arrangements which evolve in real-time. Classically trained, boci uses her violin freely and expressively as another voice, taking inspiration from various folk playing styles. boci’s music is deeply connected to her relationship with the natural world and time spent alone in the wilderness, walking in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and the Lake District.

‘we are each other, this will set us free’ (2022) was a powerfully vulnerable debut release – an album exploring the complex and universal experience of grief after loss. It communicates a deep gratitude for the solace and sense of unity found in nature. The album gained recognition from Songlines, BBC 6 music and BBC introducing.

Two headline UK tours in, and a headline full-band tour planned for May 2025, boci is an exciting force on the alt-folk scene. Her second album is brewing – look out for new releases soon…
