RUARRI JOSEPH has played many a sold out show at The Barrel House Ballroom over the years and returns to Totnes to play this super special gig… marking his first solo appearance in 12 years.
After a remarkable decade with the indie rock trio William the Conqueror, frontman Ruarri Joseph is returning to his roots with a series of solo performances under his own name.
This marks his first solo appearance in 12 years, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the intimate, stripped-back performances that launched his career.
Born in Edinburgh and raised in New Zealand, Joseph’s musical journey began in the UK, where he gained recognition as a solo artist with four albums released between 2007 and 2013.
In 2015, he co-founded the band/art project William the Conqueror. The band received critical acclaim for their fusion of bluesy grunge and Americana with anthemic British alt-rock, drawing comparisons to acts like Kings of Leon and Nirvana and touring world wide to this day.
This upcoming solo tour offers a unique chance to witness Joseph’s evolution as an artist, revisiting the raw, heartfelt performances that defined his early work.
It’s a celebration of his musical roots and a testament to his enduring passion for connecting with audiences in an intimate setting.
