MORIATY return to The Barrel House Ballroom on Friday 4th December.
It wouldn’t be December at The Barrel House Ballroom without Moriaty.
The Devon duo have become a firm fixture in our gig calendar, returning year after year for a night of gloriously filthy, fuzz-drenched blues rock. Frankly, the calendar wouldn’t feel complete without them.
Built around the formidable combination of Jordan West on guitar and vocals and Matthew Partridge on drums and vocals, Moriaty make a noise far bigger than two people have any right to. Expect huge riffs, pounding drums, dirty blues, alternative rock and plenty of swagger from a band who are always completely at home on the Barrel House stage.
Over the years they’ve released two full-length albums, The Devil’s Child and The Die Is Cast, worked with acclaimed producer John Cornfield, and collaborated with Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme – including on their single Bones.
But it’s live where Moriaty really come into their own: loud, raw, infectious and ridiculously good fun.
So, once again, we’re delighted to welcome them back for our annual December get-together.
Come and make some noise!!
