Paprika - Past Meets Present (A tribute to old school rave)

Past meets present is a night focused on classic rave music, old school genres pushed by new school artists.

100% VINYL 100% EUPHORIA

This event has a big focus on young DJs that are doing incredibly within their scene and we just needed to bring down to the shire.

The night will contain a mixture of breaks, jungle, hardcore and techstep

ACTS:

Obedeya – an incredible producer, vocalist and dj originally from Hastings and now residing in London, obedeya has mastered her craft and has a unique sound with a focus on hypnotic basslines and a smooth blend of jungle techno and hardcore, also using her voice to insert haunting vocals over the top.

Ell – A wonderful selector brought to attention due to her amazing skills as a vinyl DJ and her work on Elysium (@elysiumbristol), an event series based on showcasing female and queer talent, overshadowed genres that don’t see much light in the scene and up and coming DJs. Her recent Distant Planet debut with the rest of the Interlude cru (@interludebristol) shows she’s not one to miss!

Skywalka – A force to be reckoned with. Producing incredible trance and downtempo weirdness, but also DJing a very impressive range of music both on digital and vinyl. She will be focusing on the world of techstep, darkside and mechanical
steppas for this event, something we’re very excited for you all to witness.

Time2Rush – He’s got charisma falling out of his ears, and old school rave music flowing from his fingers, Time2Rush has a passion for hard hitting pianos and is guaranteed to get your feet moving with his focus on the uplifting nostalgic sound of 90s rave.

Seretonin – Jungle DJ and Producer, with a focus on ambience and an interesting take on the genre.
